INDESCAT awarded yesterday the Business and Sports Awards on its sixth edition, to Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Internationalization and Partnership, with the aim of recognizing the four most important sports projects in the world in these areas. The Business and Sports Awards for Partnership, which evaluates the best collaborative project that takes advantage of the knowledge of the members, was delivered to the Smartfootball project. It is a project by four companies for the promotion of Salou as a destination for sports tourism: Smartfootball; the Complex Esportiu Futbol Salou, that provides the facilities; Tecnifutbol, the sports academy and Mare Nostrum Cup, for the event organization. For the promoters of the project "we have contributed to changing the image of Salou so that it is a destination of sports tourism and we have done it by providing the best of each one of the collaborators."

Finally, the Business and Sports Award for Internationalization, which highlights the largest international projection, was this year to Poliwin, a company that offers a wide range of services, products and solutions for the management of the facilities.  It started its international expansion by 2015 in a trade mission to Mexico organized by INDESCAT, and now has activity in 8 countries.
