This Thursday, November 20th, INDESCAT took part in the SPORTCITIES Expo in Valencia, where we facilitated two round tables together with the Barcelona Sports Hub to highlight the role of a sports cluster and sportstech innovation in transforming cities and the sports industry.
The value of a sports cluster: competitiveness, growth and innovation
In the first session, participating companies agreed on the essential role that clusters play in connecting them with innovation, emerging trends, technological advances and funding opportunities. They also highlighted the benefits in terms of knowledge sharing, visibility and the creation of new contacts thanks to networking, joint projects and connections between members and with other clusters.

The second round table focused on collaboration between private entities, startups and cities as a key element in building the cities of the future. Speakers shared experiences and projects that promote more active, connected and healthy urban environments.

During the day, INDESCAT also visited the stands of our partners Kompan España, KOMPINI, SUIFFLAND and the Institute of Biomechanics (IBV), strengthening synergies with key actors in the sector.
