We interviewed Joaquim Teixidor Puig, Manager of TACTIC SPORT
- You design, produce and develop sportswear and since 1999 its growth has been notorious. What factors have contributed to this growth?
- The factors that have contributed to our growth are perseverance, effort and passion; the human team that forms the company; the constant improvement in R & D; and finally, but not least, that we believe in what garbage.
- His motto is "Less is more". What do you want to transmit? What is the differential factor of TACTIC compared to other brands for cyclists?
- Less is more is the result of what the company is and represents. That is, not because it is more than an article, or to allocate more money, is synonymous with better or more successful. We are convinced that the key lies in thinking, making equipment, testing the products, analyzing opportunities, listening to the client, etc ...
- What does innovation and R + D mean for you? Can you explain a tangible improvement by applying R & D to one or some of your products?
- For us it is everything. We have close to us a reference that has guided us for a few years now "La Bodega de Can Roca". Except for the distances, this is the spirit we have in relation to innovation. For example, at the end of the year we will release a new compression system for short shorts, which will allow the athlete to work his muscles without any type of oppression and without having to make any movement.
- What do you think that brings them to be part of a cluster like Indescat?
- For us, and let me say that for the proper functioning and the future of any company, being in a Cluster is to open the mentality, the possibilities, the creativity, and the most important: to relate with people "much better" that has brought us many internal benefits.
- You participate actively in meetings and working groups, especially in the group "Sportlovers". Why are they part of this group and what is their experience in this regard?
- This is linked with everything that has been mentioned in the previous points, the word "Sportlovers" already says it, we estimate the sport, we are passionate about it!
