INDESCAT launches the INSHAPE project: European cross regional innovation for Sports & Active Healthy Lifestyle, with the aim of creating a European innovation hub and accelerating investments in high potential SMEs in the field of sport, fitness and technology.

INDESCAT establishes strategic relations with companies, groups, organisations and international institutions in order to encourage the exchange, cooperation and export of companies in the sector, as well as offering them a series of services aimed at boosting their internationalisation.

INDESCAT is collaborating in the deployment of the first activity plan of the Barcelona Sports Hub, which initially focuses on: the creation of the hub community, support for the B-STEP programme, support for start-ups, the start-up of the Montjuic Olympic Stadium Incubator, the promotion and retention of STEM talent in sport, the provision of the city's sports system for companies and start-ups as a laboratory for testing new products and technological solutions with the Barcelona City Sports Lab, as well as channelling investment to new business projects.

INDESUP!Tech Project and B-STEP Project

This service prioritizes attention to members and connections between the various cluster organizations and the sports industry in order to bring us closer to their challenges and needs. This service is aimed at promoting interactions between all members, in order to facilitate possible collaborations and improve the connection between the demand and supply of products and services within the sport cluster.

The main way in which INDESCAT's actions are developed is through the organisation of working groups where different topics are raised and analysed. Starting with an initial cross-cutting working group, with a wide range of agents and a broad theme, more specific working groups with fewer participants follow. The final objective is to carry out specific projects with clear leadership.

EFISport is a project born in 2012 to improve energy efficiency in sports facilities.Currently, this field continues being explored through various specific work groups and with an annual meeting that brings together near 200 attendees to present different experiences and success stories by facilities managers, both from the public and the private sphere , and suppliers of solutions and products.

The aim of the event is to provide a complete overview of the bases to efficiently manage a sports installation from the energy side, so that savings and improvement formulas can be extracted in the management of the equipment.
