Everesting is much more than a physical challenge: it is a global platform that brings together athletes from around the world willing to push their limits. Born from an idea among friends in Australia, the Everesting Challenge has become an international phenomenon, with over 60,000 participants in more than 125 countries, all sharing the same obsession: turning effort into experience and personal story.
We spoke with Guillem Graell, Managing Partner of Everesting Challenge, to discover how this initiative began, what its mission is, and what it means to belong to a community that celebrates endurance and adventure as a way of life.

This Thursday, November 20th, INDESCAT took part in the SPORTCITIES Expo in Valencia, where we facilitated two round tables together with the Barcelona Sports Hub to highlight the role of a sports cluster and sportstech innovation in transforming cities and the sports industry.

INDESCAT, el clúster català de la indústria de l’esport, hem tancat amb èxit la nostra participació al Saló Piscina & Wellness Barcelona 2025, que va reunir professionals del sector en dues taules rodones que van posar el focus en la transformació tecnològica i el valor social de les piscines. Les sessions van reafirmar el paper d’INDESCAT com a agent de referència en la innovació i el desenvolupament estratègic del sector aquàtic esportiu a Catalunya.

En el marc de la Fira Piscina & Wellness Barcelona, l'Ajuntament de Barcelona, Fluidra i INDESCAT han formalitzat la firma d'un protocol d'intencions per desenvolupar el model "BCN Water Solutions", una iniciativa pionera que vol transformar la gestió de les instal·lacions aquàtiques esportives en un model més sostenible, eficient i innovador.

This week, at INDESCAT we participated in the Strategic Cluster Week 2025 in Switzerland, an ACCIÓ initiative that connects Catalan clusters with internationally recognized innovation ecosystems. It was a week of strategic immersion, with joint sessions and personalized agendas, allowing us to explore global trends and foster new alliances for the Catalan sports sector.
