From September 19 to 21, the city of Girona will once again become the epicentre of the cycling world with a new edition of Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Garmin - Shimano, one of the most prominent international festivals in the sector. In this 9th edition, five member companies of INDESCAT and the Barcelona Sports Hub will participate in the cluster’s exhibition space within the Expo Zone, reinforcing their presence and visibility in a strategic event for the sports industry.
For the third consecutive year, INDESCAT is collaborating with the festival's organisers through a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and international projection of Catalan companies in the sports sector.
As part of this agreement, the cluster will have its own space within the Expo Zone, which has been made available to members to facilitate their participation and connection with the international cycling ecosystem. Five member of INDESCAT and the Barcelona Sports Hub will take part this year:
Agenda Sports & Elements, INDESCAT member company and travel agency specialised in active and sports tourism, operating in renowned natural environments, especially in the Girona region.
Everesting, also a cluster member, is a global community and event organiser that challenges cyclists and runners to climb the equivalent elevation of Mount Everest, promoting extreme endurance challenges in iconic natural settings.
Future Fit Engineering, HUB member, is an industrial and product design studio developing innovative solutions for the cycling sector, such as a proprietary transmission system and a custom-designed bike frame for the Castro Bikes brand.
NORTH 3, INDESCAT member, offers modular and sustainable gyms with a digital platform to promote wellbeing in any environment, combining personalised training, technology, and accessibility.
NUA Coach, HUB member, is an AI-based training platform for cyclists offering personalised plans and real-time adaptive tracking tailored to each user.
These companies will have the opportunity to showcase their solutions, establish professional contacts, identify new business opportunities, and connect with leading international cycling brands.
The festival is becoming a key platform for networking, spotting trends, and fostering innovation in the world of cycling.
