We interviewed Ricard Galindo, CEO of Eikonos, an audiovisual services company specialising in offering clients the best support in audiovisual technology for each of their projects and event organisation. Galindo highlights that, in sporting events, one of the novelties is radiofrequency: ‘We offer the possibility of creating a private network to be able to transmit a streaming signal in an area where there is zero coverage. It can be mountain races, ski races or off-road crossings of all kinds; we give the possibility of sharing it live on the networks’.
The CEO of Eikonos explains that so far they have carried out ‘the press conferences for the presentation of the American Cup, the Dakar, all the LEDS design of the Kings and Queens League, the audiovisual installations for MOTOGP, the mapping on the slopes of the opening of the World Ski Championships in Andorra, the X-games, the Roller Games, the World Swimming Championships, the Final Six of water polo etc.’ and specifies that now ‘our challenge is to stay at the forefront of technological developments. We can have synergies with all those INDESCAT companies that at any given time need to enhance the audiovisual communication of their events’.
